Despised and Rejected
Many people think that Jesus of Nazareth was an ancient celebrity--- a man who lived a life of luxury while the crowds adored Him and fawned over His every word. According to Scripture, this is not the real picture of Jesus' life. In Isaiah 53, written hundreds of years before Jesus was born, the prophet outlines the life Jesus would truly experience in history-- and it surely wasn't the lavish life of a celebrity.
