Herod: The King Who Killed The Innocent
Americans love Christmas shopping, parties, trees, cards, gifts, and music--- yet millions refuse to recognize the Savior for whom the celebration is all about. However, secular Americans aren't the first people who sought to remove Jesus from the picture. In Matthew 2, we read the account of the killer-king, Herod the Great, who wanted Jesus eliminated. What do we know about Herod, and why did he want Jesus dead? How is Herod contrasted with the traveling Magi?
